In a critical time of a project’s development, it’s hard to share information without compromising the idea publicly. With that said, I still want to update family, friends, and my incredible community of supporters on this process. However, I apologize in advance if things seem a bit vague.
To start off: The Apptivist is an app for activism to serve individuals, organizations & ethically-minded businesses all over the world.
In a world of algorithms and overwhelming search results, the current platforms are not the most beneficial in providing information & communication that leads to real action within communities... and I’ll talk more about this later.
The Apptivist will be a tool that brings life to one of Desmond Tutu’s most famous quotes: “Do your little bit of good where you are; it's those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.”
The Apptivist will be more than a media, it will be the start of a movement.
